George Pickens had a breakout season for the Dallas Cowboys in 2025-26. In the best year of his career so far, the 25-year-old had 93 receptions for 1,429 yards to go along with nine touchdowns.
In the first two games of the season against the New York Giants and the Washington Commanders, Pickens has been fairly quiet.
The star receiver has recorded just 68 yards on nine catches and no touchdowns. Although some fans are slightly concerned about the production, the big boss of the Cowboys isn’t too worried.

Quarterback Dak Prescott had a statement game against the Commanders in Week 2. When he is playing well, the Cowboys tend to dominate offensively.
Although the receiving corps big star so far has been Ceedee Lamb, Jones has stated that he thinks Pickens will ‘get his’ as the season goes on.

The Cowboys face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. In five games against them over the course of his career, Pickens has recorded 326 yards and one touchdown.

It would be the perfect game for him to get going. If another piece of the Dallas offence can get going, they could be looking at an excellent start to the new campaign.
