NEENAH (WLUK) — The Green Bay Packers provided a surprise lunch to the Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue crew Saturday as a thank you for their work during the Fox Valley tornado response.
According to a Facebook post, the Fire Rescue team was joined by quarterback Jordan Love and safety Kitan Oladapo for the lunch.
“Your kindness and generosity mean a lot to all of us. Thank you for thinking of our crews and for being there for our community,” the post reads.
The lunch was the latest way the Packers have supported the Fox Valley following the tornado.
The team recently donated $250,000 toward recovery efforts in Menasha, including rebuilding playgrounds and helping repair and rebuild homes.
