WHY TO WATCH: Bengals-Steelers, Cowboys-Ravens headline WVTM 13’s NFL Week 3 coverage
Week 3 of the NFL season features several big matchups and plenty of local connections.
The Bengals and Steelers meet on Alabama’s CBS, with former Alabama players Jonathan Allen and Jordan Battle on Cincinnati’s defense. Fort Payne native Evan McPherson is the Bengals’ kicker, while former Auburn Tiger Jamel Dean and former Alabama wide out Germie Bernard are with Pittsburgh.
In Brazil, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys take on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Former Alabama star Derrick Henry and Hoover native Marlon Humphrey are among the local connections in Baltimore, while Wenonah and Alabama alum Quinnen Williams and Hoover native George Pickens are with Dallas.

Sunday Night Football features the Broncos and Rams, with former Auburn and Pinson Valley quarterback Bo Nix leading Denver. The Broncos also have former Alabama wide out Jaylen Waddle, along with former Alabama stars Pat Surtain II and Que Robinson.
Other local players to watch include former Auburn Tiger Jack Driscoll with Cincinnati and Alabama alums Tyler Booker and LT Overton with Dallas.
