The Cincinnati Bengals appear to be moving forward without veteran defensive tackle B.J. Hill for the second straight game. In a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers’ leaky offensive line, it’d make sense to have as many fresh bodies as possible to rush Aaron Rodgers.

Since Kris Jenkins Jr. has never been a good pass rusher, it feels like a no-brainer to reward seventh-round rookie Landon Robinson with some snaps in his proper NFL debut. Robinson had an excellent camp and preseason, but hasn’t been up for a regular-season game yet.

So here’s to manifesting Robinson on Sunday in Pittsburgh, in the spirit of Joe Burrow manifesting a Super Bowl and all that jazz. And yes, we’ll get more into the other inactives here in a second.

Tight end Tanner Hudson got called up to the active roster (again), as did linebacker Joe Giles-Harris. The latter’s Week 2 elevation didn’t put down any other players at his position, so I reckon Swayze Bozeman will still be live for Sunday’s action. The same can’t be said re: Hudson taking rookie tight end Jack Endries’ spot.

But not many other surprises here otherwise. Rookie fourth-round pick Colbie Young got the nod to make his NFL debut last week, and had a reception for seven yards. Thus, Ke’Shawn Wiliams is inactive for a second straight game despite Andrei Iosvias hitting IR with a thumb injury.

B.J. Hill was doubtful leading into Sunday so it’s no surprise he’s riding the pine. This is yet another chance for Landon Robinson to make his NFL debut as part of the defensive tackle rotation.

To get a little more into it, Robinson feels like a far more promising player and dynamic athlete than Kris Jenkins Jr. Would love to see the first-year pro from Navy get some run. Here’s to manifesting that outcome.

A trio of usual inactives suspects round out these predictions. Myles Hinton and Connor Lew are down, as is cornerback Josh Newton. Plenty of depth at their spots.

All told, the Bengals are pretty darn healthy, whereas the Steelers are really hurting and could be without their two top cornerbacks in Joey Porter Jr. and Jamel Dean on Sunday. Plus, Michael Pittman Jr. was listed as questionable with a foot injury, and although he’s expected to play, he ought to be on a snap count limit.
