Arian Smith hopes to make the most of his opportunity with the New York Jets and right away.
Smith was a fourth-round selection of the team at the 2025 NFL draft. Behind Garrett Wilson, New York is looking for a No. 2 receiver to step up and produce next year.

While some are suspect that Smith will manage to do that as a rookie, he did get a good review following spring practice via head coach Aaron Glenn.
“Arian has some juice, don’t he? God,” Glenn said. “He can run and he’s bouncy. He’s a really good athlete.”
Smith’s issue which caused him to drop to the mid rounds of the 2025 draft was his problem with 10 drops. But Smith is aware of it.
“I’m not the type of person to make excuses,” Smith said. “Just like you work on everything else, put time into it.”
Despite those misses, Smith had 48 catches for 817 yards and four touchdowns in 2024 at Georgia.
