The Washington Commanders got their first win of the season yesterday, defeating the Seattle Seahawks 33-31 in front of a raucous home crowd. Marcus Mariota led the team, and earned a game ball for the victory. Injuries have unfortunately been a big theme again this season, and that was no different yesterday with LB Leo Chenal suffering a season-ending neck fracture. Quinn said he had successful surgery today, and that he has been a great teammate since joining the team. Jayden Daniels (elbow), Frankie Luvu (groin), and Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) will all travel with the team to London on Tuesday and participate in practice. That doesn’t mean they are playing, but they are getting closer to returning to play. The team will have a better update on Daniels on Thursday, and also know whether Sam Cosmi (concussion) will be able to travel tomorrow.
