After losing to the Denver Broncos one week prior, the Jacksonville Jaguars successfully bounced back in Week 3, easily trouncing the New England Patriots 35-6. But as encouraging as the win was, the Jags didn’t have too much time to celebrate since they’ll next be traveling to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals are coming off a loss, their first of the season, to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but this is a team that’s shown substantial improvement on both the defensive and offensive lines, its biggest weaknesses in 2025, in two games. This is a long-winded to say that Jacksonville cannot rest on its laurels after beating the Pats. For his part, head coach Liam Coen feels pleased with how the Jags responded after the loss to Denver.

“That’s the challenge in the National Football League that exists,” Coen told reporters one day after beating New England. “It’s a pretty clear message in terms of, all right, guys, ‘How we practice going into Denver and how we played versus how we practice going in England and how we played.’ It’s right there. It’s so clear and obvious. You heard a lot of the players speak to it after the game, and so yeah, that’s the challenge of the National Football League. That is what we signed up for.”

Jacksonville will need to keep that kind of mindset if it wants to pull off the upset against the Bengals. With this in mind, here are the early odds and a Travis Hunter prediction for the Jaguars vs. Cincinnati in Week 4.

The Bengals’ moneyline sits at -135. Place a wager of $135 on them and earn a total payout of $235 if they beat Jacksonville. The over/under for the game sits at 51.5.

Travis Hunter prediction

After barely logging any time at receiver and rotating at corner the first two games of the season, Travis Hunter saw a substantial surge in playing time against the Patriots. He made the most of it, picking off Drake Maye for what was his first career interception.

While there were questions about why Hunter didn’t have a big role the first two games, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Media stated that Jacksonville wanted to ease him back into action after he suffered an MCL injury in 2025.

True to their word, the Jags gave Hunter way more playing time at corner in Week 4. Expect his usage to go up, along with his opportunities to make plays, in the near future.

That means Hunter could see time at receiver against the Bengals, and if he does, he’ll be in prime position to register a touchdown and an interception for the first time in his NFL career, which is precisely what this writer anticipates.
