Brendan Sorsby seems fully focused on the 2027 NFL draft.
The quarterback is also seen breaking down game film with staffers from LIFT Sports Management, his agency.
Sorsby’s college career included a series of wild twists and turns. After standing out at Cincinnati, Sorsby intended to play the 2026 season at Texas Tech. He never played a game for the program after the NCAA announced it would investigate the quarterback for allegations of betting improprieties. In early June, Sorsby was granted a temporary injunction that made him eligible to play for the Red Raiders in 2026. He ultimately decided to part ways with the program on June 15.
On June 30, Sorsby announced that he would focus on the 2027 draft after the NFL declined to hold a supplemental draft this year. Sorsby could still be a name to watch throughout next year’s draft process. NFL draft analyst Dane Brugler of The Athletic described Sorsby as “one of the most interesting” 2027 draft prospects in a social media post Monday.
