After signing Trenton Irwin and releasing David White Jr. on Tuesday, what does the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ wide receiver depth chart now look like?

Irwin has spent the last six seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals after going undrafted in 2019. He’s appeared in 41 games over his career and caught 46 passes for 601 yards with five touchdowns.

His most productive year as a pass-catcher came in 2023, when he hauled in 316 receiving yards. Irwin also has kick and punt return experience.

White, meanwhile, joined the Jaguars last offseason as an undrafted rookie. He did not appear in any regular-season games in 2024.

When it comes to the receiver position for the Jaguars, we know that the top four spots on the depth chart belong to Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter, Dyami Brown, and Parker Washington. But after that, there will be a competition for that final roster spot or two, depending on how many wideouts Liam Coen decides to roster.

“Josh Cephus has done some good things over the course of the offseason program,” said Coen after last week’s OTA practice. “I think (Cam) Camper has shown up in a way…He’s done a nice job.”

Coen then went on to add: “That whole group, I don’t want to say they’re swimming, but at times they’re going to be,” Coen added. “There’s so much when these guys come in post-draft, especially later on, and an install of a whole new system. Our vets and these guys have been in an offense for, let’s call it a month and a half, now these guys get put into it right in the middle of an install.

“It’s really hard to judge some of that, but I think they’ve done a nice job of trying to handle it in the heat, with the elements, doing a lot of running. We’ll see how those guys end up competing in training camp, though.”
