Nothing creates momentum in the NFL like a fast start and the Las Vegas Raiders’ defense is doing its part in that area.
According to the team’s public relations department, the Las Vegas defense has held their opponents scoreless on the opening drive of the games in the past season games dating back to Week 16 f last season. It is the second longest current streak in the entire NFL behind the Seattle Seahawks, who have accomplished the feat for nine straight games.
This is the first time since 2018 that the Raiders have gone the first four games of a season without allowing an opponent to score on the opening drive of a game.
This is just another subtle reminder of how the Raiders are playing winning football.
