The Minnesota Vikings will look to remain among the ranks of the NFL’s undefeated as they travel to the Big Easy to face off with the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season.

Despite another game where the offense failed to find its way into the end zone, the Vikings stretched their undefeated streak to four games, and nine in a row going back to last season, with a 15-10 win over the Miami Dolphins at U.S. Bank Stadium last Sunday. Will Reichard connected on five more field goals and Brian Flores’ defense put together another masterful effort, holding the Miami offense under 100 yards passing and ensuring that the Vikings would remain one of just three teams in the league without a loss over the season’s first four weeks.

The Saints come into this one with a record of 1-3 and are coming off of a pretty rough loss in Week 4, getting blown out by their division rivals from Atlanta on Monday Night Football by a final score of 45-24. The Saints will be looking to avoid a third consecutive home loss, as they were defeated at the Caesars Superdome by the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3 by a score of 35-27. The Saints’ lone victory so far came in Week 2, when they engineered a 24-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore. That is currently the lone blemish on the Ravens’ record this season.

The statuses of Vikings’ wide receiver Justin Jefferson and left tackle Christian Darrisaw are both in doubt for this one. Jefferson missed the victory over Miami with an ankle injury he suffered in the team’s Week 3 win over Tampa Bay, while Darrisaw is currently in the league’s concussion protocol and will be monitored throughout the week. We know that Minnesota will go into this one without guard Donovan Jackson, who suffered a torn meniscus in the first quarter of the Miami game and is set to undergo surgery that will likely end his 2026 season.

After a couple of weeks in the late Sunday window, this game will find the Vikings back in the noon Central Time window on Sunday afternoon, with coverage being provided by the FOX family of networks. We’ll be keeping all of our stories relating to this week’s game in this stream for you, so be sure to keep checking back for the latest.
