Trenton Irwin, BAY BAY!
On Tuesday, Tony Khan welcomed Trenton Irwin as the latest signing of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Irwin is a wide receiver who previously played for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins. Khan serves as the team’s Senior President of Football and Analytics.

“Welcome to the @Jaguars, Trenton Irwin! There’s something very familiar about you,” Khan wrote on Twitter/X, playing up on the fact that Irwin looks a lot like AEW star Adam Cole. “Can’t quite put my finger on it…”

Adam Cole has been in on the joke before too, as he reacted to the same photo when it went viral in 2022. The image that Tony Khan posted was also shared by Twitter/X user Hector Diaz, who wrote “That’s Adam Cole” as his caption.
AEW personality Renée Paquette replied with, “Consider me on the case.” Adam Cole got in on the fun too, as he wrote “Who Dey… Bay Bay,” in response to Diaz’s post.

Cole is the current AEW TNT Champion and is a member of the Paragon stable. His last match was a win over Kyle Fletcher on the May 28 episode of AEW Dynamite. That bout saw fans show concern for Cole as he took a scary-looking apron bump. It looks like he’s doing ok, however, if he’s suiting up and ready to play pro football for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
