We have all experienced the Eagles not showing up against a team everyone knows they should beat. I think every real fan gets nervous before those favored by 7 points or more games for just that reason.
Well, this is the reverse of that feeling. I dont remember the last time a game felt so destined to be an L. Backups to backups backups (Cam to Kendall to Lampkin to Majors).
So for that very reason I think the Eagles will win. Not because they should, but because they shouldn’t and that’s the nature of being an Eagles fan.
Don’t get me wrong though. Once they win and people think “Well, maybe they aren’t “that” bad, and some injured players are coming back, and the offense is settling in …… etc. Then they get beat by 20 by someone like the Giants. Again, nature of being an Eagles fan.
