It’s been a banner year for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. He led his team to the NFL Playoffs and won the Most Valuable Player award for the first time in his career in 2024.

Off the field, Allen proposed to actress and girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld. The couple officially tied the knot last week, and an important figure from Allen’s past appeared to weigh in on the topic.

“I like this little life,” Brittany Williams said in an Instagram post. The post also promoted women’s fast fashion brand Pretty Little Thing, which Williams has a partnership with. She shared several photos of herself wearing one of the brand’s items, a strapless maroon dress.

Allen and Williams knew each other since their childhood and dated for several years. They split in 2023, and Allen was initially spotted with Steinfeld months later. Since the breakup, Williams has largely stayed out of the spotlight, but she reflected on her experience in a podcast interview in 2024.

“I was with my ex boyfriend for 10 years,” Williams said on the “Martinis and Bikinis” podcast.

“I would say that coming into the dating world was very, very, very difficult for me at first because I’m just like, I never thought I would be here again. But here I am, I am very happy now. The dating life in New York is absolutely crazy but it’s so much fun. It was so entertaining.”

Williams said that she was “giddy” about being single for the first time in New York, and compared her experience to the HBO series “Sex and the City.”

“It is crazy out here on these streets, I’ll just say that. It’s hard but it’s beautiful because it makes you realize everything you want and makes you not settle for anything more than that,” she added.

“For me, it’s been the most fun and exciting experience and I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve learned what I like and what I don’t like and I’m not going to entertain anything other than someone that I think is actually meant for me or whatever it is.”

Allen and Steinfeld held their wedding ceremony over the weekend in California, and while they haven’t confirmed the nuptials on social media, photos from the event showed the happy couple walking hand in hand and sharing their first kiss after exchanging vows.

We’ll see what the future holds, but for now it appears that Allen, Steinfeld and Williams are all content and satisfied with how things turned out.
