It’s all for one and one for all in the Carolina Panthers‘ wide receiver room.

2025 eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan is one of those all, and he spoke with reporters following Tuesday’s outing of organized team activities. He was asked about the chemistry of his position group, which may be the strongest Carolina has had in quite some time.

“It’s funny,” he stated. “If you really look at our receiver room—we’re so diverse, yet we get along very well. It’s a huge testament to everybody’s humility that we have in our group. Nobody’s entitled. At the end of the day, we all wanna see each other succeed. If one person wins, we all win. I’m happy and I’m proud to be in this receiver room.”

McMillan is the second first-round wideout the Panthers have added to that room in as many years, as he’s joined 2024 32nd overall selection Xavier Legette. The bunch also includes 34-year-old Adam Thielen, 2024 undrafted free agent Jalen Coker, eighth-year veteran David Moore, former Pro Bowler Hunter Renfrow and 2025 sixth-rounder Jimmy Horn Jr.

Even as a rookie, McMillan is likely to become the No. 1 target for third-year quarterback and former No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound All-American totaled 213 catches for 3,423 yards and 26 touchdowns over his three-year stay at the University of Arizona.
