Most of the time when you look at NFL odds, it’s not very shocking. Usually we’re just talking about a point here or there. But the Dallas Cowboys odds for their next game against the Green Bay Packers definitely threw us for a loop. The Cowboys are favorites. On the road at Lambeau. 1.5-point favorites according to FanDuel.
The Packers have been somewhat disappointing this year, but they just punished the Chicago Bears at home, 31-7. The Packers are now 3-2.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 2-3 and coming off a loss at home against the formerly winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Baker Mayfield out.
Frankly, it’s kind of hard to come up with a good reason for Dallas being the favorite. The money men seem to have much more faith in the Cowboys than most of us currently do.
