The Las Vegas Raiders play their home game just off the Strip, but the oddsmakers keep picking the other team. Buffalo is the latest team favored to beat them, marking the fifth consecutive game this season the Raiders have opened as underdogs.

The Raiders have made those lines look shaky before. They beat the Chargers and Saints outright, then lost 30- 27 to Kansas City to cover the 4.5 point spread. New England was favored by 3.5 points last week, and the Patriots ended that run with a convincing win.

Raiders vs. Bills opening odds for Week 6

At BetMGM, the Bills (4-1) are five-point favorites over the Raiders (3-2), a strong line for a visiting team. Buffalo has given the oddsmakers reasons for that confidence. The Bills are 2-0 away from home this season and gained 436 net yards in Monday night’s overtime win against the Rams.

The good news for Las Vegas is that its next two games are at Allegiant Stadium, with Buffalo coming first and the Rams the following week. After the disappointing loss to the New England Patriots, the Raiders now have the perfect opportunity for a home response (and make that five-point line look a little less convincing).
