PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: October 17th, 2026

1) What Happened to Josh Metellus?: He has been solid but not spectacular. Is he working through his final season with the Minnesota Vikings? Many can foresee a new era where Harrison Smith is playing in his final year. So, too, could Josh Metellus, Jay Ward, and Theo Jackson be playing in their final Vikings seasons.

2) Jauan Jennings Gets Put on MN Vikings Watchlist: Good chance, folks, that teams are calling. But then there’s another side to the equation: Minnesota’s willingness to move on. Does the roster have enough depth to risk losing the WR3 given all of the injuries that have already arrived?

3) Three RBs for the Minnesota Vikings to Consider: No doubt, there’s plenty of need at the position. Minnesota is going to see Jordan Mason return following the bye but there’s a strong argument in favor of another add. Somebody like Alvin Kamara would be perfect.

4) Vikings Defense Remains Unrelenting: A key part of the strategy is to unleash waves of pressure. Never stop sending the waves until the clock shows 0:00. Do so effectively and teams are going to have a very difficult time.

5) Justin Jefferson Emotional in Win Over Saints: The WR1 calls New Orleans home. Pulling off the win while having a nice day at the office must have been gratifying. After all, he made a spectacular touchdown catch and had several other nice plays (which is to say nothing of the razzle dazzle).
