Usually, players getting invited to a team’s rookie mini-camp isn’t a headline-worthy event, but in this case I think fans of the Minnesota Vikings would be happy to make an exception.

According to the Believe Sports Group, the Vikings have invited Maine wide receiver Montigo Moss to their upcoming rookie mini-camp.

Moss had a solid season for the Black Bears in 2024, hauling in 61 passes for 722 yards and seven touchdowns. Maine went 5-7 on their season in the Colonial Athletic Association, but Moss led the team in all of the major receiving categories.

And, yes, he is the son of Randy Moss. He’s not the first son of the Vikings legend to try to break into the National Football League, as his older brother Thaddeus starred at LSU and spent a couple of seasons in the National Football League before making his way to the CFL.

The Vikings’ rookie mini-camp will take place sometime in early May.
