The New York Jets were outscored 13-3 in the final two minutes of the first and second halves against the New England Patriots in Week 6. Suboptimal.

ESPN’s Rich Cimini bluntly explained that it has been a “recurring issue” in the Aaron Glenn era:

“Per ESPN Research, they’ve been outscored, 119-49, in the final two minutes of halves in 2025-2026 — worst pt differential in the NFL,” Cimini posted.

Even the staunchest Aaron Glenn defenders are running out of things to say. Glenn said last year that the final four minutes of each half fall on him. Well, during that specific area, the Jets are the worst in the league.

To make matters worse, when Glenn was coming out of the half, he did a quick interview with an NFL sideline reporter. During that conversation, he said the good news is the Jets get the ball coming out of the second half. Unfortunately, that was an inaccurate statement because the Patriots got the ball out of the second half. *Slaps palm to face*

It seems hard to believe Glenn will ever fix these issues, given how often they screw them up.
