Aaron Glenn was one of three head coaches fined $250,000 by the league for conduct toward game officials, a source confirmed.

The Jets were whistled for five penalties for 35 yards in the loss to the Patriots, including a questionable offensive pass interference on receiver Tim Patrick that wiped out an Omar Cooper Jr. touchdown on the first drive of the game.

Glenn does not have to immediately pay the fine. It is on hold for the time being and can be repealed with good behavior. The NFL is trying to make a point to coaches regarding their treatment of officials. Glenn declined to comment directly about the fine but did address his relationship with officials.

“I don’t think that’s ever been a problem at all. Listen, I understand how the league works and I am fully behind how the league operates and I don’t think any coach within this league has any issues with the refs,” Glenn said on Friday. “We know it’s a tough game and refs make those split-second calls at that time. It’s tough. So we support the refs, we support what the league’s doing.

“And, again, I keep those things between me, the refs and the NFL.”

No. 1 running back Breece Hall (quad) was limited in practice for the second consecutive day. He is questionable to play Sunday after missing the last three games.

“We’ll take it all the way to Sunday and see how he feels,” Glenn said.

The same applies to starting left guard Dylan Parham (knee). Running back/kick returner Kene Nwangwu (knee) is also questionable. Linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quad), offensive lineman Max Mitchell (concussion) and edge rusher Joseph Ossai (ankle) all were ruled out.

Glenn said that Jarvis Brownlee Jr. was not benched at the end of the loss to the Patriots. There are different defensive packages in which Brownlee and rookie cornerback D’Angelo Ponds are on the field. They are the team’s two defensive backs who are used on the inside against slot receivers.

“Both of those guys will play,” Glenn said.
