The NFL trade deadline is coming up in the relatively near future, with the last day to deal on Nov. 10. That comes right after a Week 9 contest with the L.A. Rams, after which we should have a great idea about this Commanders season.

Washington must surge and stack some wins right away, lest the season go south. Will the Commander be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline? That will depend on what happens next.

We’ll see tons of projected trades in the coming weeks, and ESPN believes Washington general manager Adam Peters could make a minor move to add an asset.

Bill Barnwell has the Commanders dealing from their offensive line depth, parting with a versatile chess piece with some serious experience for a Day 3 pick.

The deal: Andrew Wylie gets sent to the Patriots for a 2027 sixth-round pick.

Adding a versatile lineman to the mix makes a lot of sense. Wylie can play right tackle or either guard spot, allowing him to fill in across the lineup with relative ease. He’s buried on the Commanders’ depth chart and has played just 15 snaps this season despite the absence of left tackle Laremy Tunsil, which caused Brandon Coleman to move to the left side.

With multiple sixth-round picks, the Patriots can afford to ship one off to add a veteran. And the Commanders could turn to practice-squaders Trent Scott or Esa Pole, who filled in for the Chiefs at left tackle last season, as their swing tackle after Wylie’s departure.”

This isn’t a major deal, but would you make it? Also, do you think the Commanders should add talent or sell off even more pieces of this roster? Let us know in the article comments below.
