Atlanta’s offense seized its opportunity after forcing a takeaway on defense.

The Falcons began from their own 30-yard line before quickly marching toward midfield. Catches from London (7 yards), Pitts (1 yard), Woerner (3 yards) and a 5-yard run from Robinson moved Atlanta to its own 45-yard line before the 2-minute warning.

Robinson rushed for 5 yards to convert the first down before Atlanta had 4th-and-4 after short completions to Muse, Pitts and an incomplete pass to Dotson.

San Francisco defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa then jumped offsides, giving Atlanta a fresh set of downs from the 49ers’ 40-yard line.

After two short completions and spike to stop the clock, Penix’s incomplete pass on 3rd-and-1 with six seconds remaining led to a successful 33-yard Folk field goal, trimming San Francisco’s lead to 14-12.
