Navy football’s first game of 2029 season to be on the road against Ohio State

Navy football will open its 2029 campaign at Ohio State University, the schools announced Wednesday.The Buckeyes are coming off a National Championship victory over Notre Dame this past season, while Navy finished the 2024 season with a 10-3 record, ending with a narrow victory against Oklahoma in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.Ohio State has won the last three matchups between the schools, most recently in 2014 when the Buckeyes won, 37-14, in Baltimore. The Buckeyes went on to win the National Championship that year.
