The song of the fall just dropped, and it’s sung by two unlikely people.

New England Patriots legends Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski belted out a football-themed song and starred in a music video shared by FOX Sports NFL, their current employer. Titled “Talkin’ Sunday,” the admittedly catchy ditty details their enjoyment of “just sitting around and talk about football all week long.”

The pair, who became Patriots teammates in 2010 and now each work as studio analysts for FOX, channeled their inner Simon and Garfunkel with this viral hit.

Watch and listen here, because words don’t do it justice:

The song, which has amassed 2.6 million views on X, advertised the former pass-catchers’ podcast, “The Gronk and Jules Show.” The series shares new episodes twice a week.

“Talkin’ Sunday” caught the attention of fellow ex-Patriot and current FOX NFL personality Tom Brady, who offered a humorous response to the song.

“They used to walk out to practice like this.. same turtlenecks and everything,” Brady said on X.

Edelman doubled down on the song’s message.

“Honestly though is there anything better than sitting around and talking about football?” he asked on X.

“The Herd” host, Colin Cowherd, was a fan of the production.

“Another reason to love the Patriots dynasty,” he wrote on X, whose show also airs on FOX.

The release of the video was well-timed. Gronkowski will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon.

Additionally, Brady will return to Foxborough to be on the call for Patriots-Packers Sunday at 4:25, broadcast on FOX. The game will mark his first as a color commentator during a contest featuring his former team.

As if this weekend couldn’t get more action-packed at Patriot Place, New England will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of Super Bowl LI. Plenty of familiar faces from the 2016 team will take the field, including Edelman and Gronkowski, according to the Patriots’ social media. The list notably omits Tom Brady, who will be in the booth not far away from the group.

Amid a nostalgic weekend for former Patriots and fans of the team, Edelman and Gronkowski will find time to get paid to sit around and just talk about football for FOX in between celebrations.
