THE CHARTER SCHOOL IS JUST A FEW BLOCKS AWAY FROM T BANK STADIUM. RAVENS PRESIDENT SASHI BROWN ALSO ROLLED UP HIS SLEEVES TO HELP OUT. HE SAID HE’S PROUD OF THE TEAM’S WORK WITH THE SCHOOL, CALLING IT A SIGNATURE PROJECT. AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE WALK INTO A SCHOOL OR A SPACE IN THE CITY OR THE COUNTY, AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE’VE MADE AN ENORMOUS IMPACT AND IT FEELS GOOD FOR EVERYBODY. Ravens help enhance Green Street Academy during volunteer day

The Baltimore Ravens left the turf and all hands where on deck in West Baltimore to enhance Green Street Academy.The team held “Ravens Volunteer Day” along with the Heart of America for a signature project that included outdoor beautification, classroom transformations, a mural painting, new furniture assembly, library support and bicycle building.Wednesday’s project also reinforced the Ravens’ long-term commitment to the West Baltimore community, as Green Street Academy sits adjacent to the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club recreation center, which is set to open in the fall.”At the end of the day, we walk into a school, into a space in the city or the county, and we made an enormous impact, and it feels good for everyone.
