Colon joins the Lions after Frank Ragnow’s retirement. He spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals and started 11 games.
Former Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Trystan Colon has found a new team. After going unsigned all through the main free agency period, he is joining the Detroit Lions, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Colon spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals, signing one-year deals each year. He appeared in 31 games in two seasons and started 11 games, playing guard and center.
The Lions found themselves needing center help as starter Frank Ragnow announced his retirement.
Because he is joining at thus point of the offseason, he will not count for the Cardinals as a compensatory loss. The compensatory period ended with the NFL draft in April.
Colon enters his sixth NFL season.
