The Tennessee Titans spent a lot of money during free agency in 2024, and the gamble did not pay off, leading to a miserable 3-14 season. Now, with a new front office in place, the team has moved on from a handful of those players.
One of those high-priced veterans who remains on the roster is center Lloyd Cushenberry, who is coming off a torn Achilles suffered in the middle of the season. The Titans not only need Cushenberry to return healthy and anchor the offensive line, but they also need him to recapture the form he displayed during his days in Denver, which led to his multimillion-dollar contract.

Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus (PFF) sees the same thing and mentions it in his ranking of the top 32 centers for 2025.
20. Lloyd Cushenberry III, Tennessee Titans
A torn Achilles in Week 9 ended Cushenberry’s first season in Tennessee, but a solid grading profile in his prior seasons provides confidence that he can bounce back. Across his final three seasons in Denver, Cushenberry posted the fourth-highest PFF pass-blocking grade on true pass sets. With expectations that he will be ready for training camp this offseason, he can again reach that ceiling.
Cushenberry struggled early in the season, adjusting to the system and the new players surrounding him, and his play was uneven before suffering a season-ending injury. Tennessee spent a lot of money on him to be the anchor of the offensive line, and they are counting on him to stabilize the interior of the offensive line in 2025.
Although he has been absent from team drills during offseason team activities, head coach Brian Callahan has spoken positively about his recovery and the expectations for him to return in training camp. If he stays healthy, Tennessee has a chance to have a much-improved offensive line in 2025 with him sandwiched between Peter Skoronski and Kevin Zeitler along the interior.
