LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Raiders want to develop the land surrounding the team’s Henderson headquarters into a new “wellness campus,” according to plans filed with the city.

A Henderson staff review meeting Thursday is scheduled to discuss the zone change application for the land around the Intermountain Health Performance Center, near Maryland and St. Rose parkways.

In a letter filed with the city’s Community Development and Services, a developer says the Raiders envision turning the area into a “health and wellness campus” that would feature sports medicine, orthopedic medicine and other specialized services.

Hotels, restaurants and other commercial services would be included as “accessory and supportive uses.”

“The campus is envisioned to be a one-of-a-kind destination based on attracting and retaining top doctors and health partners and providing top tier care to a local, national, and international patient clientele,” the letter states.

The space is currently zoned as “limited industrial.” The Raiders propose changing the list of allowed land uses to accommodate the development.

If approved, the campus would be developed in phases, starting with preparing a detailed strategy through 2026. The site is expected to be completed by 2031.
