The Post’s Paul Schwartz and Brian Costello look at which positions the Giants and Jets could target Friday night for Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft:

What Giants might do on Day 2

It was an uber-productive Day 1 for the Giants, and in the process of trading up for QB Jaxson Dart, they had to give up their second-round pick (No. 34 overall).

It was important for them to be able to retain pick No. 65 — the first pick in the third round.

That could be a prime spot to find a defensive tackle to pair with Dexter Lawrence or an offensive tackle or guard to compete right away for a starting job.

What Jets might do on Day 2

The Jets have two picks Friday, one in each round.

After addressing offensive tackle in Round 1 with Membou, the Jets can fill some other holes Friday night — namely tight end and defensive tackle.

There are some good tight ends available, such as Miami’s Elijah Arroyo and LSU’s Mason Taylor.

If they go defensive tackle, Texas A&M’s Shemar Turner is a possibility.

Day 2 usually presents opportunities to trade down and acquire more draft capital, something GM Darren Mougey may be looking to do.
