The 2025 NFL Draft continues for the Cleveland Browns and the rest of the teams in the NFL tonight at 7:00 pm ET. The second and third rounds will take place, and the start of the second round will be dominated by the Browns. They will be on the clock first at No. 33 overall, and then right back on the clock at No. 36 overall.

On Day 1, the Browns stunned many by trading out of the No. 2 overall pick, and then drafting DT Mason Graham at No. 5 overall.

We will have all of your Browns-related coverage on the draft here at Dawgs By Nature throughout the weekend. This thread will act as a “live blog,” with updates about the latest small rumors, picks, or trades involving Cleveland or other NFL teams. You should also use the comments section as your NFL Draft open thread! (Newest updates will be at the top of the live blog below)

Browns NFL Draft Live Blog

7:00 PM: Shough rumors continue to grow, whether that it to the Browns or not is a different conversation:

There’s a growing belief that Louisville QB Tyler Shough has a legitimate chance to be the first quarterback selected tonight — ahead of Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders — sources tell @NFLonFOX. pic.twitter.com/LLHt4lT4Dl

6:40 PM: Albert Breer unloaded some rumors with less than an hour before Day 2 starts (summary statements):

Browns like TreVeyon Henderson
Breer did note trade conversations are happening around the top picks in the 2nd round
Tyler Shough might be their pick over Shedeur Sanders
Same with the New Orleans Saints
Steelers in the third round might be Sanders spot
Cleveland tried to get up in the 1st to get an offensive tackle, Breer notes Ozzy Trapilo, Aireontae Ersery and Anthony Belton as names to watch

6:25 PM: Dane Brugler isn’t reporting but seems to indicate hearing that Cleveland is looking offense today:

After going defense in the 1st, the Browns are expected to shift towards offense early in the 2nd (if they stick and pick).

RB TreVeyon Henderson at 33 and TE Mason Taylor at 36 would be fun.

5 PM: Browns continue to receive the love for fleecing the Jaguars in their first-round trade.

4:35 PM: General manager Andrew Berry would not dare trade down again tonight … would he?

Sources: Several teams picking in the high 30s and 40s are calling the #Browns (33), #Texans (34), and #Titans (35) about potential trades to try and come up. WR/EDGE are viewed as having tangible drop-offs and a wide range of evaluations — would expect both positions targeted… pic.twitter.com/n3IpggcwhK

4:00 PM: Shedeur Sanders might not be the first QB off the board tonight.

3:43 PM: Not a surprise but official reporting on the Browns taking calls about their pick at #33:

3 PM: One potential route that the Browns could take in Round 2 tonight would be to continue to build on the defensive side of the ball by selecting Boston College defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku and Mississippi cornerback Trey Amos.

If the Browns punt on QB in Round 2, they could have a potential haul that looks like this:

DT Mason Graham
EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku
CB Trey Amos
2026 1st-Round pick

1:13 PM: Passing on Travis Hunter may work out for the Browns, but next year feels like a long way away right now.

I’d be nervous about passing on Travis Hunter…but the Browns now go into next year’s draft armed with ammunition to get the QB they want, and added a defensive player who’s a great fit at an area of need.

11:40 AM: Planning ahead is cool, but what happens a year from now if you need a QB and are not selecting high enough or can’t find a trade partner?

#Browns passing up Travis Hunter to get an extra #1 next year says they’re looking to the 2026 Draft for a potential franchise QB. So even tho they have two of the first four picks tonight, if I’m them, maybe I turn to playmakers who can help right now – and choose a QB later on.

11:04 AM: A day later and Cleveland’s decision to trade down in the first round remains polarizing for the fans.

Feedback here on Browns/Jaguars trade is pretty unique. Usually one side rips people posting trade value evals and the other uses it as justification. In this case Browns fans hate the trade too and also are ripping any trade valuation

10:14 AM: We have a bunch of Day 2 coverage for you, starting with the 20 top prospects still available. Having the No. 33 pick also gives Cleveland leverage for a possible trade down. DBN’s Barry Shuck believes there is a home run selection on the board for the Browns at No. 33. Here is also a Cleveland mock draft for today’s second and third rounds, to get your mind racing.

In addition to all of that, below are the remaining players available on the DBN Browns Big Board, heading into Day 2:

9:55 AM: Mason Graham, Cleveland’s new defensive tackle, is not short on confidence:

8:30 AM: How does the NFL media view the Browns trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars and subsequent selection of Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham in the first round of the draft? Check out the grades here.

7:38 AM: The Browns trading down in the first round of the draft will be talked about for a while. At least by one measure, the Browns “won” the trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Warren Sharp:

even if the Jaguars win the Super Bowl and the Browns only get the Jaguars #32 pick next year, Cleveland still wins this trade based on value by all measures

7:00 AM: Good morning, Browns fans, and welcome to Day 2 of our annual NFL Draft live blog! It was an eventful Thursday for the Browns, as they did the following near the beginning of Round 1:

Made a deal with the Jaguars to move from No. 2 overall to No. 5 overall

Selected DT Mason Graham out of Michigan with the 5th pick
