The Las Vegas Raiders will host five local high school football teams for the inaugural Raiders 11-On clinic on Monday, June 9 at Damonte Ranch High School in South Reno.

The event will include 7-on-7 play and a skills competition. Athletes can compete in a few individual skills events including longest throw, fastest man and strong man.

More than 150 players and their coaches on teams from Damonte Ranch, Bishop Manogue, North Valleys, Wooster and Reno High School will participate in the Raiders 11-On event, with teams earning points for each competition. The team with the highest cumulative score will be named the 11-On champion.

“11-On is a unique team experience that supports scholastic high school football team competition,” Raiders spokesperson Tracey Koblick told the RGJ. “It focuses on building character and life skills along with team foundations throughout the exciting, fast-paced, competitive event.”

Myles Hayes, director of football development with the Raiders, will be there along with his team. There won’t be any Raiders players at the 11-On event.

The event is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. Monday at Damonte Ranch.
