The Tennessee Titans added an offensive skill player once more in the 2025 NFL draft, selecting Michigan running back Kalel Mullings with the No. 188 overall pick in the sixth round.
Mullings is a physical runner at 6-foot-1 and 226 pounds, ending up as the Wolverines’ top back last year ahead Donovan Edwards.

The senior finished with 948 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, both team highs, in 2024. His passing game contributions were very limited, with only six catches last year.
Mullings played linebacker early in his career, slowly making the switch during the 2022 season before being a full-time running back in 2023. That linebacker experience should only help Mullings make the Titans‘ 53-man roster via special teams.
Here’s how the Tennessean grades the Titans’ sixth-round pick:

The grade: B
Why? Kalel Mullings should be able to contribute on special teams and adds some strength to the offensive backfield as a downhill, straight ahead runner at 226 pounds. It likely comes down to Mullings vs. Julius Chestnut for the RB3 spot in the preseason.
