Ohio’s Marion Local enters 2025 with the longest active high school football win streak. The Flyers, who have four straight Ohio state championships, have won 64 straight, which is the longest ever win streak in the Buckeye State.
The man behind the school’s incredible run of 15 overall state titles is Tom Goodwin, who owns 325 wins since taking over the program in 1999.
Falling in behind Marion Local is New York’s Garden City. The Trojans, winners of four straight Long Island high school football titles, own a 54-game win streak.
Virginia’s Phoebus High School will be looking for one-for-the-thumb in 2025. The Phantoms, who finished last season ranked No. 166 in the High School Football America 300, powered by NFL Play Football, are riding a 48-game streak after winning the school’s fourth straight state championship in 2024.
The fourth longest active win streak belongs to Sheridan (Wyoming), winners of 43 straight. The Broncs have won four straight Class 4A Wyoming state championships.
Next on the list are Oklahoma’s Carl Albert and Iowa’s Grundy Center with 39-game win streaks each.
