Detroit Lions WR and University City HS alum Tim Patrick returns home, hosts youth skills camp at UCHS

KUSI (SAN DIEGO) – Out at University City High School, a special homecoming taking place.

Detroit Lions Wide Receiver and UCHS alum, Tim Patrick hosting a free youth skills camp paying it forward.

“San Diego isn’t always seen as a football city, I just felt like it just put a chip on my shoulder.. and to let people know dogs really come out of San Diego,” Patrick sharing.

Patrick recently signing a 1-year deal after coming off the heals of reaching the postseason in the Lions 2024 season, Patrick hauling in 3 touchdowns and 33 catches for Detroit.

“Everybody here you see today.. either I grew up with, went to school with.. I wanted to make the first camp ‘San Diego’, and not just have all of my NFL friends here.. so everybody that you see that is working.. I either went to middle school, high school with them or I played football with them. So this one is real sentimental.”
