DETROIT – Detroit Lions fans are in for some exciting news for the upcoming 2025 NFL season, as Delta Air Lines has announced an increase in services and the creation of additional capacity at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) for some of the most highly anticipated away games.
Key details were released on Friday (June 6), including five flights operating with larger aircraft from Detroit for important matchups against the Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Those flights will be operated by Delta and are timed to make it faster and easier for fans to reach key game locations across the United States.
The added and expanded flight options complement Delta’s regularly scheduled operations, which are well-equipped to get customers to key rivalries, matchups, and other significant games with either a direct flight or just one layover.
This is an exciting opportunity for Lions fans to travel directly to necessary away games without a layover and with more seating options.
