The result of Super Bowl LIX continues to be discussed regarding the future of the Kansas City Chiefs. Analysts and football commentators have been discussing the franchise’s win expectancy going into 2025 without placing too much weight on the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

“That was an all-time Eagles team, and I don’t take anything away from the Chiefs,” said Kyle Brandt on a recent episode of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.

The Chiefs won a franchise record 15 games in 2024 and went undefeated at home during the regular season and playoffs.

“I look at the Chiefs last year. I think it was the weakest team of the (Patrick) Mahomes era and the most vulnerable team, and they won 15 games and had a bye,” said Brandt. “We’ve seen it was like that was the year to get them, that was the year to take them out. Next year, I think they’ll be better than they were this year.”

The Chiefs’ 2025 travel schedule will be busy, with their opening game in Brazil and the most primetime matchups in the league.
