Now that the 2025 NFL Draft is over, it’s time for the Detroit Lions to sign players who went undrafted.

We’ll keep track of all the UDFA additions. Keep in mind these are unofficial signings often reported by agents, and they might include rookie minicamp invites and not actual contract offers.

For those that do officially sign with the Lions (or any team), it’s a three-year contract worth the combined league minimum for those three seasons. In 2025, that figure is $2.965 million.

Here are the Detroit Lions UDFAs for 2025

Ohio RB Anthony Tyus – Big (6-1/220) power back from the Kalamazoo area who can grind out yards between the tackles. Good hands and pass protection skills.

Syracuse WR Jackson Meeks – Transfer from Georgia brings size (6-2/210) and plays with a physical edge. Blossomed in his last year at Syracuse. He’s also Za’Darius Smith’s nephew.

Grand Valley State S Ian Kennelly – Very good athlete with impressive ball skills and decent tackling ability.

Ole Miss TE Caden Prieskorn – Detroit-area native offers inline size and reliable hands. Had some strong red-zone reps in the Senior Bowl week.

North Dakota State OL Mason Miller – Big OT started out as a basketball player. Played under Lions TE coach Tyler Roehl for three years, was starting RT opposite Grey Zabel.

UMass WR Jakobie Keeney-James – Very athletic slot receiver (4.37 40, 40.5″ vert) spent five years at EWU before transferring to UMass.

Houston DL Keith Cooper – 6-foot-5, 280-pound end led the Cougars in sacks after transferring from Tulane and bulking up in 2024.

Texas CB Gavin Holmes – Lightweight (5-11/178) CB was Jahdae Barron’s backup, tested well enough to merit a longer NFL look.

Arizona State C Leif Fautanu – Very experienced center with some pop behind his pads, Fautanu is known for his strong pass protection.
