JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson State head football coach TC Taylor was honored by the Black College Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Taylor, who is entering his third year in charge of his alma mater, led the Tigers to a SWAC Championship Game-winning season and secured the school’s first-ever Celebration Bowl victory, being crowned the HBCU National Champions for the third time in program history.
On Saturday, Coach Taylor was named the Black College Football Coach of the Year.
JSU was 12-2 last season as well and held the nation’s longest current winning streak at 10.
He was also named the 2024 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year list as the top FCS coach and the 2024 SWAC Coach of the Year.
