The Tennessee Titans waited until Day 3 of the NFL draft to add weapons for new quarterback Cam Ward, but when they did, they went all in.

In the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft, Tennessee selected wide receivers Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor along with tight end Gunnar Helm. In the process, they became the first team to use three picks in one round on skill position players.

General manager Mike Borgonzi spoke about the three new weapons and how they fit with Ward at the post-draft press conference.

“Dike is a guy who can stretch the field. Elic’s a bigger receiver who’s productive in the red zone, with a big catch radius.” He said, “And Gunnar Helm, whom we took as well, is a big, savvy route runner. Good in the red zone and also provides a quarterback a big catch radius as well and is good after the catch, too.”

He also talked about the addition of veteran Tyler Lockett and what he will bring to the room, as well as what he can offer a young quarterback.

Tennessee entered last week needing to add some playmakers and weapons to their receiving corps, and in a few days, completely revamped the room and added competition to the mix. While these players still have to perform on the field, the outlook heading into the rest of the offseason and team activities has changed completely.
