Aaron Rodgers confirms he got married in Steelers press conference
New Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed he ring on his left hand is a wedding ring during his first press conference with the Steelers.
Aaron Rodgers now has two rings: A ring from when he took the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl victory in 2011 — and a wedding ring.
The former Packers and New York Jets quarterback — who’s set to play his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers — revealed he’s married. He shared the news during his first press conference at Steelers minicamp June 10.
“Been a couple of months,” Rodgers said after telling reporters he was, in fact, wearing a wedding ring.
The confirmation came after a little over a month of speculation following Rodgers’ red carpet appearances at the Kentucky Derby, where he was sporting a ring on his left finger, and when he signed his contract with the Steelers.
Who is Aaron Rodgers’ wife?
We don’t know — yet.
In a December appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers revealed that he had a girlfriend.
The QB didn’t divulge too much about his GF besides her name being Brittani with an “i” and that she didn’t have social media.
During an April appearance on the show, Rodgers indicated that he was “in a serious relationship.”
It isn’t clear whether Brittani is the woman Rodgers married.
Rodgers’ dating history has been star-studded and high-profile.
Rodgers was in a relationship with actress Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017.
He dated pro race car driver Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020.
On the “Sage Steele Show” podcast, Patrick shared that her breakup with Rodgers in 2020 was the most pain she’s experienced in her life.
“It was sudden,” Patrick said on the show. “Felt like it was my life, when you live with someone, it was your whole life. … It’s your mailing address. It’s like everything. And because of the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive so that wore me down to nothing.”
The end of the relationship, however, was a blessing in disguise, she said.
Rodgers got engaged to actress Shailene Woodley in 2020. After a whirlwind romance, the couple called off their engagement in 2022.
“I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry,” she told Outside magazine last year. “It was not right. But it was beautiful.”
Rodgers was also linked to Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, though the two never commented on a relationship.
