Zegers, a Wisconsin native, got his start in pro football with the Packers as an equipment assistant in 2014. He returns to Green Bay as a scouting coordinator after spending eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns and five with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Owen, a long-time college scout, was promoted to national scout. He’s been with the Packers since 2012, including the last 10 years as the Northeast scout. Gutekunst will have two national scouts: Owen and veteran Sam Seale.
Owen will be replaced by Koch, who was promoted to Northeast scout after spending last season as a scouting intern. Koch played linebacker for TCU and Samford before spending three years in personnel at the collegiate level.
Whipple was promoted to pro scout after spending the last two years as a scouting assistant. He played wide receiver at Iowa State and Northern Iowa.
