Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is marrying his childhood sweetheart, Ann Michael Hudson, this month, five months after they got engaged in January.
The second-year quarterback let the news slip Monday while talking to reporters about his offseason plans before training camp begins next month.
“Shoot, my plans,” Maye, 22, said. “Focus on tomorrow, got another day of practice. Getting married in two weeks.”

The former UNC product proposed to Hudson during a trip to Mexico in January.
The couple has been dating since they were 12 years old and attended North Carolina together, according to her TikTok.
Hudson, who graduated from Chapel Hill in April, enjoyed her bachelorette party in Seaside, Fla., the following month.
The brunette beauty supported Maye when he was selected with the No. 3 overall pick by New England in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Maye looked confident in spring sessions after throwing a few interceptions at the start of OTAs while adjusting to newly hired offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels’ system.

“I’m starting to really find a stride,” Maye said. “It’s all the same concepts in the league, but it’s different words, different verbiage. It’s mostly the same guys running [routes], but just feeling out how they run it and timing when you get into different concepts. It’s been good.”
First-year head coach Mike Vrabel praised Maye for taking on a leadership role in year two.
“It’s a unique position being 22 [years old],” Vrabel said. “There’s a lot of natural leadership qualities. I have to encourage him, continue to encourage him and to put him in those positions to do that so that the players understand that there’s a different version of all of us. There’s one that’s maybe off the field, there’s one in the meeting room, and then there’s a version on the field, which we all have to understand is somewhat different than what it may be off the field,” Vrabel said before practice.
