CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Released on Tuesday by the Cincinnati Bengals, Germaine Pratt has been picked up the Las Vegas Raiders according to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter.
Pratt, a 29-year-old linebacker, led the Bengals in tackles last season with 143. That was the 10th-best in the NFL.
In February, Pratt requested to be traded, Ian Rapoport reported at the time.
Pratt was drafted by Cincinnati in the 3rd round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State.
“I’m very appreciative of what Germaine has done for our team over the last six years,” said head coach Zac Taylor. “He has been a part of plays and wins that will be remembered forever by Bengals fans. I will always pull for Germaine and I wish him the best moving forward.”
Pratt was nothing but consistent since arriving in Cincinnati.
In his six years with the Bengals, Pratt appeared in 96 games, starting 88 of those.
Pratt had 616 total tackles, 32 tackles for loss, seven forced fumbles and seven interceptions as a member of the Bengals.
