JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Jackson State University defensive back is continuing his football career to the next level, after signing a free agent contract with the Washington Commanders.
JSU announced Robert McDaniel signed the contract on Saturday.
During his final season with the Tigers, he received all-conference honors and played in the HBCU Legacy Bowl.
On his way, he logged 55 total tackles, including 34 solo stops. He also had 10 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
