COLUMBIA, S.C (WPDE) — The Southeastern Conference has announced the game time windows for South Carolina’s 2025 football season. The Gamecocks will open their campaign on August 31 against Virginia Tech in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game is set to kick off at 3 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.
South Carolina’s home opener against South Carolina State on September 6 will begin at 7 p.m., available on SEC Network Plus and ESPN+. The September 13 game against Vanderbilt at Williams-Brice Stadium will start at either 7 or 7:45 p.m., airing on either ESPN or SEC Network.
The Gamecocks’ first road game is scheduled for September 20 at Missouri, marking their first “flex” game of the season with a start time between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET. They return home on September 27 to face Kentucky, another “flex” game.
After a bye week, South Carolina travels to LSU on October 11 for their third “flex” game. The Gamecocks will host Oklahoma on October 18 with an early kickoff between noon and 1 p.m. The Homecoming game against Alabama on October 25 is the fourth “flex” game.
South Carolina will then play two road games, facing Ole Miss on November 1, their final “flex” game, and Texas A&M on November 15 with an early kickoff. The regular season concludes with home games against Coastal Carolina on November 22, with an afternoon kickoff, and Clemson in the Palmetto Bowl on November 29, starting at noon.
The new conference rights agreement between the SEC and ESPN allows for designated time windows for all games after Week 3, with exact start times and networks confirmed at least six days before each game.
