The 2025 NFL Draft is just a couple days away, and soon enough we will know who the newest members will be for the Buffalo Bills. Like many of our readers, I’ve consumed plenty of mock drafts — probably too many if I’m being honest with you. Rather than compile another collection of mock drafts this week, I figured it would be better if I shared what I want to see happen over the three days of the draft.

Round 1, Pick 30: Kenneth Grant, DT (Michigan)

Originally, I imagined that Buffalo would take a cornerback in the first round, but the recent signing of Tre’Davious White will give Brandon Beane some flexibility with his first pick. In my opinion, a one technique defensive tackle is the biggest need for the Bills heading into Thursday night.

Kenneth Grant gives head coach Sean McDermott a big body that will be the eventual replacement for DaQuan Jones. Grant has proven to be effective against the pass and the run, and will need to improve his consistency in Buffalo. He has plenty of upside, and can serve as an important rotational piece during his rookie season.

Round 2, Pick 56: Landon Jackson, EDGE (Arkansas)

Jackson has been a popular choice in many mock drafts, as he’s reportedly spoken to the Bills on at least eight occasions. Jackson brings plenty of size to the position, standing 6’6” and weighing in at 264 pounds.

Despite his size, Jackson is an elite athlete — having posted a 9.78 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) at the NFL Scouting Combine. Jackson would provide an intimidating presence with Gregory Roussaeu — especially as AJ Epenesa and Joey Bosa have contracts that expire at the end of the season.

Round 2, Pick 62: Benjamin Morrison, CB (Notre Dame)

As mentioned above, the signing of White allows the Bills to be patient in selecting their eventual CB2. Morrison would likely have been a first-round pick if not for a hip injury suffered during the 2024 season.

He held a workout for scouts in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, looking to show that he has recovered and is ready for the upcoming season. The Bills can now bring Morrison along slowly if needed, thanks to the White signing, until he’s eventually ready to start at cornerback.

Round 3, Pick 99: Kyle Williams, WR (Washington State)

The Bills move into the third round on Friday night, sending picks 109 and 169 to the New York Giants. While many expect defense to be the heavy focus of the draft, the Buffalo needs to add a vertical threat on offense. Williams brings a speed element that the Bills currently lack on offense, providing a deep-threat option for quarterback Josh Allen.

With their remaining five selections (132, 170, 173, 177, 206) I hope the Bills add depth along the offensive line and at linebacker. Connor McGovern, David Edwards, and Matt Milano all have expiring contracts at the end of the season, so I’m hopeful general manager Brandon Beane can find another draft gem on Day 3.

While this is my “dream draft” scenario, I’m sure you have one of your own. Be sure to share it in the comments section below!
