Maryland’s Chioma Njoku is set to compete in the NCAA Outdoor track & field championships hosted by Oregon on Thursday.

Njoku will take part in the hammer throw, and is set to be the fourth thrower in the second flight of competitors. Njoku is ranked No. 27 nationally in the hammer throw and No. 9 in the NCAA East. She set a personal-best mark of 65.60 meters at the East First Round meet, ultimately finishing sixth to qualify for the NCAA championships.

The action will begin at 4:30 p.m. and stream on ESPN+.
