Coly appeared in 11 games last season playing on both special teams and on the offensive line. Coly played defensive line in high school and just switched positions about 4 seasons ago. Here’s still a lot of growth there from a guy who is clearly talented.
Like most positions on this roster, we don’t really know who will grab them. Coly has actual playing experience at his position which obviously gives him a leg up, but keep in mind how bad Purdue was last season. Regardless of how bad Purdue was, Coly seems likely to see the field on special teams at least.
