In a way-too-early three-round 2026 NFL mock draft from Pro Football Network, who did the Jacksonville Jaguars come away with?
Although the Jaguars don’t have a first-round pick after trading up this year to pick Travis Hunter, they still have four picks in the top 100, after accumulating two additional third-round picks in a Day 2 trade back in this year’s draft with the Detroit Lions.
Having that many top 100 picks does give the Jaguars the flexibility to move around the draft board, if that makes sense, and the opportunity to still add some early impact players to the roster.
Now, before we dive into who the Jaguars selected, predicting how the draft will unfold 10 months from now is an impossible task. The draft order is still TBD, team needs will change between now and then, and prospects will move up and down draft boards.
So, more so, when looking at mock drafts this far out, use them as a guide for which draft prospects you should have your eyes on as the upcoming college football season unfolds.
Pick 43: Michael Taaffe, S, Texas
At this point, Eric Murray will be entering Year 2 of a three-year deal with the Jaguars. Prioritizing safety at this stage of the draft could be the Jaguars planning ahead for Murray’s potential departure in 2027 or 2028, not to mention that any addition will bolster the depth of this unit. Taaffe played all over the Texas secondary last season, but most of his snaps came at free safety, where he had two interceptions and eight pass breakups.
Pick 75: Luke Hasz, TE, Arkansas
Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long each signed two-year deals this offseason, so 2026 will already be the final year of those contracts, and the same goes for Brenton Strange on his rookie deal. Hasz caught 26 passes last season for 324 yards with four touchdowns. The blocking component at this position is critical in Liam Coen’s offense.
Pick 91: Arias Nash, DT, Virginia Tech
After not making any offseason additions at defensive tackle, the Jaguars are clearly comfortable with who they already have on the roster, and their belief in those players finding success in Anthony Campanile’s defense. However, this is a position that still could very well be a need in 2026, depending on how this season plays out. Nash played at Mercer in 2024, totaling 53 tackles over 14 games with 12.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks.
Pick 97: Jaden Greathouse, WR, Notre Dame
Wide receiver isn’t going to be a pressing need with Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter, but with Dyami Brown in Jacksonville on a one-year deal and Parker Washington in the final year of his deal in 2026, depth here could be a need next offseason. Greathouse caught 42 passes for 592 yards with four touchdowns in 2024.
